Md Ibrahim Mamun

Mamun is currently working as a Research Assistant at the University of East London and as a Manager at a retail giant (Sainsbury's) in the UK. He earned his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing and Technology from Northumbria University, UK. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Asia Pacific.


Mamun's research interests include the development of Machine Learning and Deep Learning-based models for Human Activity Recognition (HAR). His recent projects involve Generative AI (GenAI)-based models for analyzing nurse training activities from skeleton-based video data and tremor detection using diverse human data sources, with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
